Frustrations
Once you turned 40 you experienced rapid weight gain.
You carry most of your weight in the mid section.
You've been told you should start your diet but you don't know where to start.
There are many reasons why it takes longer for women over 40 to lose weight. But here are two big ones:
Women tend to gain weight in middle age because of hormonal changes that occur during menopause. And when women reach menopause, they often experience an abrupt drop in estrogen levels, which can cause weight gain.
Metabolism
Another reason women struggle with weight loss after 40 is that their metabolic rate slows down as they age, making it harder to burn calories. This means that even though they might eat less than younger people, they still end up consuming more calories than they need.
Solution
Your metabolism is slowing down so you need to trick your body into burning more calories.
How:
Increase your regular workout routine and change up the exercises
Stop your body from storing fat
